Hog Roast Achmelvich has many different menu’s for different events, just browse on their website to take a look and see what you fancy.
Hog Roast Achmelvich’s classic menu 4 is a popular menu with clients, especially those who are environmentally friendly as it doesn’t use any disposable crockery or cutlery, but rather real crockery and cutlery. It is a great idea for those wanting a more high-end finish to the service.
What food does a menu 4 entail? Well, of course it is something completely delicious, but you tailor it through our options. First option you choose, how the pig is cooked. Do you want completely tender meat that just falls off the bone and melts in the mouth? Do you want sage and onion stuffing that is made with the juices of the pig making it extra flavoursome? Do you want to see the pig laid in a tray of stuffing giving it a medieval vibe? Then the Hog Roast option is for you! It is slowly roasted at Hog Roast Achmelvich’s facilities for 12 hours on low heat before being brought to your celebration, giving it that resting time helps the juices be absorbed back into the pig making it succulent. On the other hand, do you want theatre? The pig to be cooking away on a spit? Do you want the best, crunchiest crackling? Do you want carved meat? Then a spit roast is for you. The catering manager will arrive on site 4-6 hours before your chosen serve time and cook it at your location. The smell will circulate your site, causing your guests to feel hungry as they anticipate their dinner.
The tasty pig is then accompanied by side dishes. You get to choose a potato option, usually roasted new potatoes or herb-buttered new potatoes, although chips are becoming a popular choice. You will also get to choose three salads, popular options are homemade coleslaw, fresh green salad, tomato and mozzarella salad, Caesar or fresh pasta salad (usually tomato and basil or pesto). These compliment the meat well, especially enjoyable in the summer months!
Whatever takes your fancy, you make it your menu.
