Bruce Jepp, the owner of the multi-million-pound, award-winning innovation company Titan Torque Services recently reached out to the Hog Roast Peterhead team about hosting an extra-special hog roast in celebration of his companies tenth year in business. With 300 people on his guest list, Bruce was looking for a more relaxed and informal menu with more than enough food on offer to feed everyone; and with that in mind, our expert catering manager Steve, suggested that with a few minor tweaks, our corporate hospitality menu 3 would be the perfect addition to the big day he had planned.
With less than a few weeks to prepare for the companies milestone event, it was all hands on deck for Steve and the rest of the Hog Roast Peterhead gang who decided that for the event to run smoothly, they would have to double the menu to incorporate two whole slow-roasted pigs. Unafraid of a challenge, the team banded together and created a game plan for the day which arrived much sooner than anyone expected!
On the morning of the event, the Hog Roast Peterhead team made the almost one hour drive to the Titan Torque headquarters in Links Place, Aberdeen and once inside the spacious warehouse, they quickly launched themselves into bringing our mouth-watering menu to life. Using our Hog Master Pro, the catering crew effortlessly cooked both pigs on a bed of savoury stuffing until they were golden brown and covered in perfectly crispy crackling and laid out copious amounts of our eco-friendly wooden crockery and gluten-free rolls.
Before long, hungry guests began arriving and many jokingly complained that the scents coming from the cheese-covered 100% beef handmade burgers, juicy gourmet sausages and the vegetarian-friendly grilled vegetable and haloumi skewers were driving them wild. When the Hog Roast Peterhead catering crew presented Bruce with the hunger-inducing buffet that they had spent the morning creating, he was just as eager to get stuck in as his guests were.
We’re pleased to have been involved in this 10 year anniversary celebration and are even happier to share that the food went down a treat with those in attendance. In fact, by the end of the event, all that was left to show of the hog roast was clean plates which the catering crew tidied away before packing up and returning home.
