With summer in full swing and the sun beating down across the country, the Jackson family decided that it was the ideal time to host their annual family barbeque with friends and extended family. They host an event every summer in their back garden and invite lots of guests, creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. For the catering, our manager Steve was hired to provide a family-friendly barbeque menu, including several dishes for vegetarians to enjoy. Hog Roast Banchory was more than happy to take on this role and cater for what was bound to be a great afternoon!
Steve and the team arrived at the Jackson family home in the morning, giving us plenty of time to prepare for the party. We began by grilling the mains, which included succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, British beef burgers, halloumi and vegetable skewers, marinated chicken kebabs, and BBQ spareribs. The main dishes were served in fresh bread rolls, alongside crunchy coleslaw, corn cobettes, mac and cheese, seasonal salad dishes, homemade chips, and sweet potato fries. When the party was in full swing, the guests lined up at our catering station and chose their meal from the dishes that we had on offer. The wide variety meant that every guest could create their perfect meal! Our menu went down a treat and it was the ideal addition to this gathering.
