Recently, Hog Roast Aberdeen catered for a corporate event for Volkswagen Specialist Cars. The catering menu needed to be ideal for 60 guests, with dishes that were suitable for vegetarians and gluten-free guests. Our client, Steve, required the menu to be served buffet style, cresting the ideal level of formality for the event. After discussing the catering options we can provide, it was decided that our Classic Hog Roast menu was a perfect choice.
On the day of the event, our catering team got to work preparing the menu for the 12:30 mealtime. We began by roasting the hog, ensuring that it was packed full of natural juices and flavours. The hog was expertly carved and served with fresh bread rolls and wraps, including a gluten-free alternative. For meat-free guests, we provided grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers, with vegetable skewers for vegan guests. This was a simplistic yet delicious menu, with something for every guest to enjoy.
As well as being delicious, the menu was also the correct level of formality for the event, making it a perfect addition to the afternoon. We served our catering on bamboo cutlery and crockery, which is an ideal middle ground between china and disposable.
