Hog Roast Inverurie Christening Catering for Different Diets!

Christenings are always one of the happiest of family celebrations but here at Hog Roast Inverurie we understand that when you have siblings, grandparents, children and nephews and nieces all gathered together in one place, feeding them all with food they enjoy can sometimes be a challenge! Even though our awesome slow roasted pork will be the number one choice for most of our clients, we always strive to make our menus as diverse as possible and we are happy to offer bespoke solutions to ensure everyone loves our food!

Hog Roast InverurieIt is thanks to our diversity (and our superior pork of course!) that new parents Ben and Michelle decided to hire us to do the catering for their baby daughter’s christening. With 70 people to feed, all with different tastes and dietary needs, they had to find a catering option that offered the same level of diversity and luckily for them, they found us!

Ben and Michelle were very impressed with our range of buffet menus and rather than struggling to find options that everyone would like, they found themselves spoilt for choice! With the help of Hog Roast Inverurie’s expert team, they chose a tempting menu of both traditional and more contemporary buffet items, including our trademark slow roasted pork, our handmade gourmet sausages, grilled veggie and halloumi skewers and a selection of tasty side dishes with cous cous, crispy Thai salad and vegan coleslaw. Along with the provision of gluten free bread rolls and wraps, they were confident that we had all bases covered!

When the big day came, we were ready right on time after spending several hours making our varied menu from scratch at the christening venue, using only the best locally sourced ingredients! The food went down a storm with every generation of the family and we had a very positive response about all of our dishes. The family had a lovely day together celebrating the new arrival and Ben and Michelle were very grateful to the Hog Roast Inverurie team for managing to achieve what they thought was impossible – providing food that every member of the family loved!
