Here at Hog Roast Kintore, we aren’t just highly experienced in providing big bold buffets for large-scale outdoor catering – we are just as good as providing contemporary 3 course meals for smaller indoor celebrations, which is why soon to be married Vicky and Simon hired us to do the catering for their wedding reception!
The couple didn’t want a grandiose affair, they wanted to celebrate their nuptials with a more intimate reception for 40 of their nearest and dearest! They also wanted an elegant menu full of high quality ingredients, and when they found out about our commitment to using only the best local produce in all of our menus, not to mention our ability to prepare every part of it from scratch on site, they knew they had found the perfect catering company for their big day!
The couple also loved the versatility of our menus and decided not to have one of our trademark hog roasts, instead opting for our equally succulent and delicious slow roasted sirloin of beef, served with our homemade red wine gravy and horseradish sauce! They wanted this to be served with rosemary new potatoes and seasonal veg, along with grilled halloumi and veggie skewers served with pitta breads and tzatziki dip for their 4 vegetarian guests!
The Hog Roast Kintore team arrived at the cosy venue several hours before the 2pm service time to get the preparations underway. By the time the wedding party arrived, we were ready to greet them with platters of our handmade canapes, including Peking duck wraps, king prawns, mini quiches and gourmet sausages! The slow roasted beef main course and vegetarian alternative were very well received by the newlyweds and their 40 guests and the room was full of laughter and conversation as everyone toasted the happy couple and enjoyed their meal.
Vicky and Simon were thrilled with the food that the Hog Roast Kintore team provided for their intimate wedding reception and they told us that we had exceeded their expectations every step of the way with our fab food and attentive service!
