The weather is finally starting to pick up here in Scotland, and, unsure of how long it will last, residents are making the most of the rare absence of rain!
With the community’s growing eagerness to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine with their loved ones, Hog Roast Kintore has been inundated with dozens of calls from locals lately. This has seen our team travel the length and breadth of Aberdeenshire with the aim of providing our delicious homemade food at gatherings of all sizes and styles.
Just last week, Hog Roast Kintore’s team loaded up the catering unit and trundled off to Aiden’s home, where they spent a handful of hours preparing our Gourmet BBQ Menu for an impromptu get-together the client had planned.
Deciding that the weather was just too good to waste, Aiden contacted all of his loved ones and invited them round for a catch-up and a BBQ, which, as you can imagine, his guests were immediately on board with!
When the client’s 20 guests arrived at 2pm, they were thrilled to see Hog Roast Kintore’s catering staff hard at work. While our catering manager manned the grill, every inch of which was covered in sizzling meats, the rest of the team was focused on setting out the Greek salad, gourmet coleslaw and mixture of sweet potato and regular fries.
The smells that wafted from the food were incredible, which made the group all the more excited to dig in! Fortunately, they didn’t have to wait long before Hog Roast Kintore began serving up the goods.
The guests were able to choose from our BBQ meaty marinated spareribs, tender and juicy chicken kebabs, gourmet sausages, or handmade 100% British beef burger patties served on gluten-free rolls with melting cheese, tomato slices and lettuce, which paired with the side options beautifully.
More importantly, the variety on offer ensured that everyone had something tasty to munch on, which prevented any of the guests from feeling left out or neglected.
Everyone had a fabulous time, and they’re all wishing for the good weather to continue so that they have another excuse to use Hog Roast Kintore’s catering service – we can’t blame them!
