Wedding caterer always requires a caterer to be at the very top of their game, because the occasion calls for luxury and style, a formal approach, extremely high quality, and usually a lot of quantity of dishes too since wedding parties are often some of the busiest events with numbers usually reaching into the couple hundred.
At Hog Roast Peterhead we luxuriate in wedding dining for exactly those reasons. It is a chance to put our services to the test as we know that we have to hold a top level of quality right the way through our service, in every single dish, and in every single interaction with the hundreds of guests in attendance.
Proving that Hog Roast Peterhead is up to the task, we had one such case of this just this past weekend and as our Hog Roast Peterhead team came out to Jenna and Brendan’s wedding to provide our top-notch formal dining service. For the wedding reception itself we had just about everything in our offerings: drinks and canapes as the guests arrived which helped to get everyone nice and settled in and tide the guests over with delicious lighter bites until the main event at night; then a formal dining service for dinner with a starter of either Roast Breast of Gressingham Duck, Fresh Smoked Salmon, or our Homemade Lentil Soup with Crusty Bread Rolls; followed by a classic Hog Roast Peterhead buffet for the main with two roast meat options available and a huge selection of veggie alternatives, plenty of sides, salads, and roast potatoes and homemade condiments and sauces. Dessert of cheesecake or sticky toffee pudding was then served to guest tables again once the buffet had largely wrapped up and digested a little.
The reception then turned from dinner to nightclub as the DJ turned on the tunes and got guests up and moving. During this time our Hog Roast Peterhead team ensured we had all of our dishes well cleared and tidied away so that we could head off knowing that we were leaving the location as we found it. We have no doubt that the party went long into the night even once we were gone!
