You wait for it all year long, and in a flash the summer already comes and goes just like that! As short as it felt for the team here at Hog Roast Banff, it was certainly more than chock full of events to cater for every single day – perhaps a large part of why the season seemed to just fly by in a blur! Even when the weather largely disappointed for the season, we still had a blast at many of your events in Banff, so we thought we would take this slight break in the schedule to share some of our highlights from the summer with you.
It didn’t matter that the weather wasn’t all that this summer, because for many of us we were glued to our tv screens right the way through the season. First there was the Euros in German, in which England once again nearly went all the way, and then there came the Paris Olympics. It was a summer of sport most certainly, and many of you, like us, wanted to take in all of the sporting action with good company and your favourite bites to snack on from Hog Roast Banff!
Where the sun did make its rare appearance, we of course also had an excellent time serving your outdoor events. The barbecue is one of the culinary highlights of the year, and our chefs love anytime we get to try on our gourmet range of burgers, sausages, ribs, skewers, kebabs, and more! You took your chances where the sun allowed to grab your barbecue classics from Hog Roast Banff, and we took our chance to sizzle in the sun just a little while letting our meats sizzle atop our state-of-the-art roasting machines!
When we add the many summer weddings of yours to the mix too, it becomes so clear that the summer doesn’t just have to be about blazing temperatures and sunny days. Sometimes all you need is, the caterer, the company, and the food to enjoy a season to its fullest!
