25 years of anything is cause for celebration, but 25 years of marriage is even more so as was the case for our customers Sandra and Michael last weekend who invited Hog Roast Middleton of Potterton out to their silver anniversary party. We love love here at Hog Roast Middleton of Potterton, and we love serving guests, so of course we said yes!
Sandra and Michael held their anniversary celebration out of their own home, making full use of their excellent garden space to house their 40+ guests and our Hog Roast Middleton of Potterton team as well. Thankfully the thunderstorms were yet to come, so the day remained nice and sunny for everyone to stay out and enjoy the heat and shine. The same goes for our Hog Roast Middleton of Potterton serving team who certainly came away with a bit of an extra tan!
Our service for this anniversary celebration was to be as laid back as the couple we were all there to celebrate. Sandra and Michael didn’t want the onus to be on them; it was just a party about enjoying good company, good drinks, and of course good food too with Hog Roast Middleton of Potterton. With that being the case we figured a service with both canapes and a buffet table would work best. Our team were on site early in the day so that we could have all of our platters prepped beforehand and so we could get our hog roast cooking nice and early too. Once guests arrived and took to the garden and the glass conservatory, our service team were out on their feet serving platters of delicious light bites to guests. Small dishes such as our mini beer battered fish and chips, mini quiches, mini pizzas, our Indian snack selection, and small salmon wedges served on brown bread.
The buffet thereafter, once all the drink had come to set in with the guests, consisted of our namesake hog roast served pulled pork style with a selection of sweet and regular potato fries, homemade coleslaw, and mixed leave salad, and we had a few grilled burgers and sausage rolls ready to go too.
An excellent celebration for an excellent couple, and one which we hope to come back to at the next anniversary milestone!
