Hog Roast Aberdeenshire – Corporate Catering for 200 Guests

Once it gets to late autumn, Hog Roast Aberdeenshire offers our winter warmer, which keeps our customers and their guests toasty and satisfied, and right now across this season, it’s one of our menus of choice, chosen by many. You get to choose the meat that we prepare, cook and serve at your party or event, like our famous hog roast complete with crackling, stuffing and apple sauce, or spit-roasted whole turkeys with stuffing and cranberry sauce. You also get to choose a trio of vegetables and a potato dish like new potatoes, wedges or roasties, and we smother it all in our luscious homemade gravy.

Hog Roast AberdeenshireWe recently catered a large corporate function where Jamie had asked us to provide our winter warmer for two hundred people. After asking many of the guests which they would prefer, it became clear to him that it would have to be one of our amazing Hog Roast Aberdeenshire hog roasts, and he decided that it would be best served with our new potatoes with rosemary and garlic, buttered carrots, parsnips and sprouts, and of course with all of the trimmings too.

However, Jamie also needed to make sure that any guests with dietary requirements would be catered for and he was surprised to learn that we offer so much choice and variety and not just when it comes to special diets. We can easily cater for vegetarians, vegans and those with a gluten intolerance or allergy, as well as other diets, as long as we have advance notice, but we also make many additional dishes, like starters, desserts, sides and canapés, and we have special menus like our Southern Slow Roast, which gives you three meats and four sides, and at this time of year, we offer our festive menu, which even comes complete with mince pies and brandy cream. For Jamie, however, piles of our veggie skewers would do just the job for his vegetarian guests.

On the day of the event, our Hog Roast Aberdeenshire chef and several assistants cooked up a storm with the plated meals, and by the end of service, everything in sight had been completely devoured.
