Hog Roast Peterhead at a new homes development site.

Hog Roast Peterhead’s latest catering event was at a building site. The team had to make sure that their Chef and the food would be well protected from the elements and the dust of a building site, but they came up with ways and means around it, as Client Greg wanted to feed his hungry workforce!

 

Hog Roast PeterheadClient Greg wanted a special lunchtime buffet for his 40 hard workers, so he immediately contacted the Hog Roast Peterhead team. He worked closely with them to come up with a hearty buffet menu that would keep his workforce full and warm in the cold outdoor working conditions.

 

When Chef Ross arrived at the building site venue he was given as sheltered and out of the way position as was possible. He immediately got to work on setting up the catering gazebo, lights and cooking equipment. Friendly Chef Ross from the Hog Roast Peterhead team then got straight to work on producing the dishes fresh from scratch in time for the 1pm serving time.

 

The main attraction at the buffet table was undoubtedly the slow spit roasted free range chicken that was served with chipolata sausage and homemade onion gravy. If that wasn’t to the guest’s tastes however, there was also a vegetarian alternative available. Alongside these dishes there was lots of platters of piping hot seasonal vegetables. Finishing off the buffet was lots of baking hot jacket potatoes and a basket of soft gluten free rolls.

 

Chef Ross had worked miracles! When the workers arrived at the buffet table at 1pm everything was ready to be enjoyed. The guests tucked into the feast that was fit for Kings. Client Greg was chuffed. 

 

After the food had been thoroughly enjoyed by the guests Chef Ross quietly tidied away. He took all the rubbish, including the waste from the disposable crockery and cutlery that the team had provided for the guests to use, and disposed of it responsibly.

 

The client and his team of hard workers were thoroughly pleased by the buffet. It had been a great success.
