Make New Christmas Traditions With Hog Roast Fraserburgh

The first cluster of the advent calendar doors have been wrestled open, the decorations are up (or at least, they are for most of us!) and already, every radio station is blasting out classic Christmas tunes – all of which points to one thing. Yes, December has officially arrived, which for Hog Roast Fraserburgh also means that the busiest month of the year for us has begun!

Hog Roast FraserburghWith Christmas now, just a few weeks away (eek!) our phones have been ringing non-stop with clients eager to bag themselves a Hog Roast Fraserburgh festive treat before our bookings fill up – and boy, are they filling up fast! But one client who was lucky enough to grab herself a Christmas day spot was Charlotte.

After agreeing to handle this year’s Xmas dinner for her family, Charlotte soon found herself overwhelmed by the magnitude of responsibility that comes hand in hand with Christmas catering. But instead of losing her head, she kept her cool and reached out to Hog Roast Fraserburgh to discuss her options.

As always, the Hog Roast Fraserburgh team were eager to help out where we could, and working closely with Charlotte our catering manager was able to help the client come up with a delicious spread that is guaranteed to win over her family on the day!

Choosing from our selection of mouth-watering festive banquets, Charlotte has opted for our traditional turkey lunch which features a gorgeous, slow roasted free-range bird with freshly made cranberry sauce and homemade sage and onion stuffing as the centrepiece. Side options for this menu include a medley of glazed seasonal vegetables, cauliflower cheese, pigs in blankets and golden brown roast potatoes prepared with a rosemary and garlic seasoning. Our chef’s own recipe of mince pies with traditional brandy butter is also included as a finishing touch to this menu, and each year our clients go wild for them.

With our catering crew set to handle the cooking this Christmas, Charlotte can spend the entire month of December relaxing and making the most of the annual festivities. This might just be the beginning of a new tradition!
